March 2006
S
pring is here and our tourist season has
already begun. Thank you for continuing to wow our visitors with the quality
and variety of our home grown talent. There is always room for more and the
more we have the more we can sell.
If you are planning on going away this summer bring
your work in to the Gallery and we will store it securely for you and bring it
out as needed.

Whistle Stop Website

Our website
is starting to take shape and will be updated as time allows. Please send in
your autobiography when you can and it will be added to the website. If you
have your own website be sure to include the address and it will be linked to
the site.
The Whistle Stop Winter Challenge project is proceeding apace. To
date we have distributed 25 2’x2’ squares and some of you are very close to
completing your projects already! Remember, we would like to have your
completed work in by May 15th in order to display them before placing
them along our art walk for our grand unveiling on Canada Day, July 1, 2006.

Attention all toy makers!!

We are looking for toys of all sorts, wooden trains, logging trucks,
spinning tops, windmills etc. If you make toys, or know someone who does… bring
them in to the Gallery. Help us help kids rediscover the joy of a real toy.
